Whether you are a devotee of Eros, just beginning to connect with Him, or just curious about Eros, devotion is the most basic and powerful practice you can do. In most current magical paths it is common to practice devotion to the divinities according to the passage of the moons and the seasons; with Eros you can do it in the same way, depending on the area in which you live, according to the rhythms that you observe in nature and the sacred times that mark the tradition that you follow, if you follow one, although here we will only give you the dates and the basics so you can adapt it to your needs.
Wicca
We are a Correllian Formal Shrine
When this Shrine was founded on August 18, 2015 one of its objectives was to be recognized by the Correllian Nativist Tradition of Wicca as a Formal Shrine. This recognition is only granted to priests and priestesses who request it within the Tradition and after being initiated as a priest of first degree our guardian, the Rev. Roble Tormenta, requested the recognition of Formal Shrine being granted this only a few days later.
Finding Eros: suggestions at the beginning of the road
Pain, anguish, despair… are feelings that crowd in our interior in such an intense way that we look overwhelmingly for anything that relaxes our feelings. A broken heart and the feeling of exhaustion of love, of life, of relationships are symptoms of the end of a romantic relationship. This is a very typical time when many people turn to Eros to ease their grief in one way or another. If you really dare to take the step you will find much more than you expect.

Heal the shadow of bisexuality
The LGBTQ + community is underrepresented globally in society. But if we enter into the great rainbow spectrum that form the different sexual orientations and genres we see that bisexuality is still invisible even within the collective itself. As a result of this invisibility, bisexual people can develop many problems regarding their sexuality and their own identity, but witchcraft can be a way to heal those wounds.
The other Goddess
When we talk about Dianic Wicca, we talk about a Wicca focused on the Goddess and that in some cases she relegates the God in the background very small or directly eliminates it from the cult. For a time, especially in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Dianic Wicca was synonymous with lesbian Wicca. It is not surprising that many lesbian wiccans adopted this tradition because it was closer to their life experience, but not all dianismo is lesbian.

The invisible lesbian
No, we are not going to talk about any myth, story or story about a woman who likes women and who in some magical way becomes invisible. The reality is much sadder and today, as part of the Week of the Lesbian Visibility that we organize from the Sanctuary of Eros, we want to talk about the invisibility suffered by the lesbian community both inside and outside of paganism. And it seems that being a woman and a homosexual is less important than being a man and a homosexual, even though homosexuals are still fighting for many rights, they have to fight twice.

Transgender in perfect love and perfect trust
The Wiccan Rede Wicca begins: “Bide within the Law you must, in perfect Love and perfect Trust. Live you must and let to live, fairly take and fairly give.” And maybe because it is the first thing that is read in it, it is precisely the first thing that is forgotten or the least important. And I say this considering that many times we make the same mistakes as people who do not know or follow the Rede and we do not create spaces of perfect love and perfect confidence. At the beginning of the Transgender Visibility Week, we wrote an article talking about the situation of transsexualism within paganism and today, coinciding with the International Transgender Day Of Visibility, we want to take up part of the theme.
A transgender divine archetype
A few days ago, as the start of the Transgender Visibility Week, we wrote an article on the position of the trans community within paganism. We find that many times transgender people encounter the same difficulties they face in the rest of society in terms of discrimination or even hatred for being what they are. This should not be the case since paganism represents for many a safe place to express themselves, where to find a place to belong. Fortunately the gods do not understand these absurd discriminations that humans do.
This is also a matter of spirituality
When from the Shrine of Eros launched the project of the Pagan Observatory of Eros and the first survey for the Study on Sexuality and Gender in Paganism received, in a majority way, support from the great part of the pagan community. And I say “part” because we found ourselves with some comments that told us that all this was totally unnecessary, that questions about sexuality and gender are private things and that they do not have to mix with religion. We believe that this thought couldn’t be more wrong.
